Nairobi National Park
Established in 1946, Nairobi national park is a popular destination for tourists, particularly for those who appreciate observing wildlife in their natural habitat.

Location is lang’ata, 5km away from the centre of Nairobi. It’s the home of the Rothschild giraffe. Imagine feeding tall giraffes from a raised platform and taking pictures beside beautifully patterned wildlife. The experience is next to none. You will also find warthogs around the scenery.
Karen Blixen Museum
Strategically located at the foot of Ngong hills, the museum is the former home of Danish writer Karen Blixen famous for writing the “Out of Africa” novel which was later made into a movie. one of the attraction for visitors, is the tour of the colonial farmhouse as well as pictures taken by Karen’s lover. Vintage furniture, props and deco for the “Out of Africa” film are amongst the many factors that will send chills down your spine.

To enjoy the best Nairobi has to offer in food, be sure to visit Habesha, Haandi restaurants and if you are fan of health food, The Good Food Company is a sure bet.
Dishes to relish in the capital especially are the Ugali which is perhaps the most common food made from cornmeal and is eaten with cooked vegetable. Other dishes to look out for incude Githeri (made from boiled beans, corn kernel and nutritious vegetable), Masala Chips, which is deep fried French fries with tomato, chilli, herbs and cilantro sauce coating.
For memorable nightlife experience, banging clubs in the area include Black diamond, Skylux lounge, Tribeka lounge. If you crave the local electric atmosphere of the town, Gipsy bar is a popular amongst the locals.
