Heresy, one of the fashion brands coming out Lagos and one to watch out for, for that matter, is presenting their monochromatic debut lookbook. The brand attempts to contemplate alternative realities with its focus being on a society that has strived  to attain a high-level of conscious awakening.

Creative director Charles Egbejule has named their first offering “Endless Summer”; significantly consistent with the persistence of humid tropical weather during anticipated dry seasons, especially in the southern region of Nigeria.

The collection which involves a range of T-shirts, dresses and outerwear projects bold white print graphic on pitch black fabric establishing a visual stimulating monochrome effect.

The wears, in the way they are styled establishes the “9 life concept” associated with black apparels. Whether it’s with white sneakers or the heeled sandals, the style is unique and pleasing.

The backdrop of the lookbook is set against urban Lagos, capitalizing  on black and white medians and pavement, road barricades and the quintessensial power poles.
